Job summary

Turner Industries Group is seeking I&E technicians for upcoming outage work in the Houston, TX area. Candidates must have 3–5 years of experience, knowledge of steam trace tubing, and the ability to pass a drug screen and safety council.

Per diem and relocation are not available; candidates must reside in/near the area. Responsibilities include calibration of instruments, installation of instrument loops, and support for loop checks and startups.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in instrumentation and calibration.
• Knowledgeable of steam trace tubing and related systems.
• Instrumentation Degree or NCCER Certification highly preferred.
• Must pass a drug screen and safety council requirements.

Responsibilities

• Calibrates electronic and pneumatic instruments in field and control room.
• Installs instrument loops and maintains installation and completion records.
• Coordinates and assists in loop checks and startup procedures.
• Keeps loop drawings and inventory records; inspects meters and gauges for accuracy.
