Job summary

SOC LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for an onsite role in Indian Head, MD. The role supports facilities projects, including installations, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC systems for a federal site and related offices.

This full-time, on-site position requires occasional travel to the federal site in Indian Head, MD and collaboration with teams in Chantilly, VA and Arlington, VA. A Journeyman license, EPA certification, and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC experience with current Journeyman licensure
• EPA Refrigerant Reclamation and Recovery Certification
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems
• Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and relevant codes/regulations
• Willingness to travel to federal site in Indian Head, MD and nearby offices

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, and heat pumps
• Diagnose electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
• Support small-scale HVAC projects from design to completion
• Document maintenance and prepare technical reports
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations
• Support on-site and with off-site teams as required
