Job summary

ATC is seeking a detail-oriented HVAC Technician to install, maintain and repair commercial HVAC systems at our customer site in Northern Virginia. The role focuses on air quality systems from installation to end-of-life, with warranty and emergency repair responsibilities under supervision of the Senior Technician.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of HVAC experience, strong troubleshooting, the ability to read schematics, and a VA journeyman license (or ability to obtain within 3 years).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC technician experience.
• Understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating principles.
• Ability to read schematics and equipment specs.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• VA journeyman's license or ability to obtain within 3 years.
• U.S. citizenship and Top-Secret clearance required.
• Master HVAC license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems.
• Identify maintenance risks and diagnose faults.
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Keep daily logs and records of maintenance activities.
• Comply with safety standards and customer requirements.
• Assist with customer queries and coordination on projects.
