ManpowerGroup is assisting a commercial facilities and building systems organization in Jacksonville, FL, to hire an HVAC and Electrical Maintenance Technician. You will lead preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of critical building systems.

The role requires hands-on HVAC and chiller experience, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, relevant certifications, and a commitment to safe work practices. First shift; competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial or industrial HVAC and chiller maintenance experience.
• Hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capability in a facility environment.
• HVAC/refrigeration certifications and licenses appropriate to the work (supplier will identify credentials).
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs, work orders, equipment logs, and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands-on technical lead for preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of key building and utility systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on HVAC systems and chiller equipment.
• Troubleshoot HVAC and chiller performance issues and complete routine repairs.
• Inspect and maintain pumps, motors, electrical components, belts, filters, drains, coils, and other equipment.
• Act as a Safety Champion reinforcing safe work practices and promoting a proactive safety culture.
