Qualifications

• Strong commercial or industrial HVAC and chiller maintenance experience.
• Hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capability in a facility environment.
• HVAC/refrigeration certifications and licenses appropriate to the work (supplier will identify credentials).
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs, work orders, equipment logs, and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands-on technical lead for preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of key building and utility systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on HVAC systems and chiller equipment.
• Troubleshoot HVAC and chiller performance issues and complete routine repairs.
• Inspect and maintain pumps, motors, electrical components, belts, filters, drains, coils, and other equipment.
• Act as a Safety Champion reinforcing safe work practices and promoting a proactive safety culture.

Our client, a commercial facilities and building systems organization, is seeking a, Electrical HVACTechnician to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the onsite facilities group supporting day-to-day equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and safety-focused operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on HVAC and chiller maintenance experience, strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, and a proactive commitment to safe work practices, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: HVAC and Electrical Maintenance Technician

Pay Range: Salary 89,440

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

• Serve as a hands-on technical lead for preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and appropriate repairs of key building and utility systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on HVAC systems and chiller equipment in accordance with site procedures and your qualifications.
• Troubleshoot HVAC and chiller performance issues and complete routine repairs within your training, licensing, and technical capability.
• Inspect and maintain associated pumps, motors, electrical components, belts, filters, drains, coils, and other facility equipment as applicable.
• Act as a Safety Champion by reinforcing safe work practices, identifying hazards, supporting corrective actions, and promoting a proactive safety culture.

What's Needed?

• Strong commercial or industrial HVAC and chiller maintenance experience.
• Hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capability in a facility environment.
• Relevant HVAC/refrigeration certifications and licenses appropriate to the work proposed (supplier will identify recommended credentials).
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs, work orders, equipment logs, and safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently, diagnose issues, distinguish routine in-house work from specialized contractor work, and elevate appropriately.
