Job summary

Welo Global's robotics lab in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Robot Teleoperator to operate humanoid robots onsite and collect high-quality data for AI training. You will be responsible for teleoperation, data capture, and meticulous labeling to ensure dataset quality.

The role requires hands-on hardware interaction, detailed documentation, and strong spatial reasoning. Expect up to 50 lbs lifting, 5 days/week, and a competitive $35/hour rate.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Experience with humanoid robots or robot arms preferred.
• Strong documentation and data annotation skills.

Responsibilities

• Teleoperation & Data Capture: operate humanoid systems and robot arms for movements and tasks.
• Quality Assurance: evaluate videos and datasets to ensure high standards.
• Hardware Maintenance: assist with hardware assembly and minor repairs.
• Data Annotation: identify actions and timestamp boundaries in video feeds.
• Labeling & Logic: describe spatial relationships with precision.
