Job summary

Southwest-Accessory-Group (SWAG) is seeking an on-site HR Specialist in Glendale to own recruiting and provide full-cycle HR support for hourly Operations staff. You will partner with DC leadership to hire, orient, and develop a strong workforce while maintaining records and policy adherence.

You'll work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, balancing recruiting, employee relations, documentation, and operational priorities to drive engagement and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent HR experience considered.
• Progressive HR experience including recruiting and employee relations.
• Experience supporting hourly, warehouse, or fast-paced operations preferred.
• Full-cycle recruiting experience for hourly or high-volume roles.
• Knowledge of HR practices, wage-hour rules, and HR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly Operations positions, including postings, interviews, and offers.
• Partner with DC Managers to assess staffing needs, turnover, and shift requirements.
• Ensure fair hiring with structured interviews and matrices.
• Coordinate background checks, drug screens, onboarding, and new-hire orientation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and assist with payroll and benefits questions.
• Support leave, accommodations, workers’ comp, and return-to-work processes.
• Promote policy compliance, confidentiality, and workplace safety.
• Provide coaching and documentation support to managers on performance issues.
