Job summary

EmeryAllen LLC, based in Charleston, SC, seeks an HR Generalist to work onsite at our Mount Pleasant headquarters. You will own the employee experience from posting to leadership development, supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and compliance.

You will drive culture, stay interviews, and retention efforts while partnering with leadership to implement performance management and HR processes. This role is fully in-office at Mount Pleasant, with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).
• Strong business acumen with the ability to develop people strategies.
• Natural ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
• Experience working in a Mac environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting & onboarding: post jobs, source, screen, coordinate interviews, and manage onboarding with 90-day reviews.
• Employee relations & engagement: policy guidance, conflict resolution, recognition, and retention efforts.
• Performance management: support for 90-day reviews, quarterly dialogues, and annual evaluations.
• HR administration: maintain records, changes, leaves, PTO, HR reports, and HRIS improvements.
• Benefits & payroll: administer health, 401(k), payroll coordination, and profit-sharing processes.
• Compliance & policy management: ensure legal compliance and update handbooks.
• Learning & development: identify growth opportunities and support leadership programs.
• Culture & organizational support: collaborate with leadership on engagement and internal communications.
