Techo-Bloc in Waterloo, IN is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Coordinator to support onboarding, benefits, payroll coordination, compliance, and employee relations across shifts. This onsite role helps maintain records and engage across departments.

The position requires strong organizational skills, discretion, and proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office to foster a productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HR Coordinator experience.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR.
• HR certification or in progress (SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar).
• Experience supporting multi-state HR operations a plus.
• Experience with HRIS systems required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for employee HR questions and guidance on policies.
• Support benefits administration and payroll coordination.
• Research and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and postings.
• Coordinate onboarding for new hires and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records and compliance docs; assist with audits.
• Plan and coordinate employee events and engagement activities.
• Support HR programs that promote engagement and culture.
• Track attendance, training, and required documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide administrative HR support as needed.
• Exercise independent judgement in recruitment for assigned roles.
• Design HR programs and interpret policies.
