Job summary

Vitaver & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Developer (DevOps & DBA) to work onsite in Houston, TX on a 12-month temporary project.

The role requires 5+ years of Python and JavaScript experience, strong PostgreSQL skills, and hands-on knowledge of Docker, Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, and GCP. You will develop full-stack apps, build REST APIs, and support high-traffic systems while relocating to client site as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Python development experience.
• 5+ years of JavaScript development experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL in application development.
• Experience with Docker and Linux environments.
• Experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with scripting and monitoring (DataDog).
• Experience with Kubernetes and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Perform database administration focusing on PostgreSQL in application development, including DR backups and upgrades.
• Handle DevOps across Docker, Linux, and AWS with scripting and monitoring.
• Develop full-stack applications using Docker/Kubernetes and PostgreSQL.
• Build and integrate REST APIs, web scrapers, and EDIs/XML/CSV reading solutions.
• Support high-volume traffic application development and system design.
