Qualifications

• Two years of Maintenance Mechanic experience required.
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
• Must read and write English and communicate with staff, vendors, patients, visitors.
• Familiar with use of common hand and power tools.
• Follow product use instructions and ensure MSDS on file.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize emergency and routine trouble calls and correct problems quickly with safety emphasis.
• Respond to emergency calls affecting patient, visitor, or employee safety.
• Perform repairs on mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment across the hospital campus.
• Repair water supply and waste systems; maintain sanitation and infection control.
• Complete repairs on systems at 80% rate per task; document in logs.
