Job summary

Raise is seeking an Intermediate Warehouse Materials Handler in St. Albans, WV, onsite, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The role involves loading/unloading trucks with forklifts, moving materials, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

A strong forklift background, safety mindset, and reliability are essential for success on a 6-month contract. The position requires hands-on experience with heavy-capacity forklifts and current forklift certification.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on forklift operating experience; 5+ years strongly preferred.
• Experience operating heavy-capacity forklifts (7,000+ lbs).
• Current or recent forklift certification; site-specific certification will be completed as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, position, stage, and organize materials.
• Handle heavy materials safely and efficiently in accordance with established operating procedures.
• Support daily warehouse and material-handling activities based on operational and field requirements.
• Assist with receiving, staging, loading, unloading, and movement of materials throughout the facility.
• Safely operate heavy-capacity forklifts, including equipment with capacities of 7,000 lbs. or greater.
• Inspect equipment and work areas and report any safety, equipment, or material-handling concerns.
• Follow established procedures for the safe handling, movement, and storage of materials.
• Work closely with the warehouse team and follow direction from supervisors and onsite leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support the team during periods of high shipping and receiving activity.
