Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Consultant to oversee a diverse portfolio of healthcare campus projects in the Greater Austin area, including Round Rock, Pflugerville, and Temple. This onsite role emphasizes hands-on project management, budget adherence, and high client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a background in facilities or project management, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication skills to manage multiple projects and vendor contracts effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel regularly to Round Rock area facilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from planning to execution.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget development and expense management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with extensive experience in client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage a wide range of facilities projects across healthcare campuses, ensuring successful completion from initiation to close-out.
• Conduct regular onsite visits and travel to facilities within the portfolio to oversee progress and address emergent needs.
• Coordinate services for all business units, large departments, or work groups.
• Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets and expenses, ensuring financial targets are met and reporting on variances.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and fostering strong working relationships.
• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting timelines, risks, and budget status.
• Source, evaluate, and manage external vendors, obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and overseeing performance.
