Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional to advance measurement and inspection workflows for Terran R manufacturing.

The role focuses on laser tracker data capture, model-based tooling with Verisurf, and GD&T interpretation across assembly levels, enabling precise geometric data collection and process optimization. Ideal candidates have 8+ years with laser trackers and Verisurf X, plus hands-on use of CMM and inspection gear.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience with laser trackers.
• Experience analyzing data and generating data reports.
• 8+ years of experience with Verisurf X.
• Experience using inspection equipment: micrometers, gauge blocks, dial indicators, height gauges, optical comparators, profilometers, CMM, and laser trackers.
• Strong GD&T knowledge to interpret blueprints at all assembly levels.

Responsibilities

• Collect geometric data via laser tracker using Verisurf MB software.
• Establish a reference system for current tasks and apply it on and off the part.
• Provide analysis of collected data and direct remaining operations.
• Integrate process monitoring with fabrication to locate welding and machining details.
• Collaborate with vehicle engineering to influence design and production planning.
