Job summary

Staffed4U in Maryland is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer (Level 2 or 3) to support a mission-critical customer in Annapolis Junction. The role focuses on integrated circuits, microelectronics, and PCB design for near-term production.

You will lead PCB layouts, develop schematic documentation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, onsite environment. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph and MPO access is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or five years more hardware design experience).
• Level 2 requires 7+ years of relevant HW design experience; Level 3 12+ years.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph and MPO access is required.
• Onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD; no telework.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, analyze, and support complex hardware systems and microelectronic components.
• Perform PCB layout activities for production and prototype designs.
• Develop and maintain schematic capture documentation and design artifacts.
• Support HDI PCB design and fabrication efforts.
• Conduct hardware analysis, troubleshooting, and verification activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for system integration and deployment.
• Support reverse engineering of ICs and microelectronic components.
• Assist with production readiness and hardware transitions.
• Ensure designs meet customer requirements, standards, and manufacturing constraints.
