Job summary

Greystar in Tempe, AZ is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the community are well maintained, grounds are pristine, and amenities are appealing. The role supports the service team and helps uphold safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, trash removal, making ready units, performing routine service requests, and assisting the Make-Ready process.

Qualifications

• Maintain community grounds and curb appeal.
• Provide responsive maintenance services with a customer-focused approach.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards promptly.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the community daily to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and keep common areas neat.
• Removes trash from vacant apartments before make-ready and cleans storage areas.
• Completes routine service requests as directed by Supervisor/Community Manager and assists with make-ready.
• Changes locks and ensures pool area gates function according to safety standards.
• Distributes notices and communicates with residents as needed.
• Alerts supervisors to hazards or safety concerns affecting residents or staff.
• Delivers courteous customer service and addresses resident questions or complaints about maintenance.
• Participates in safety meetings and complies with OSHA and related requirements.
