Job summary
Kiewit is seeking a Grading Superintendent to serve as on-site representative coordinating grading operations in the South Central region, including Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. You will manage scheduling, material control, and daily field directions to ensure safe, efficient work and high-quality results.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction with at least 3 years in supervision, and strong knowledge of grading processes and safety practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in construction industry
- 3+ years in a supervisory role
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong communication with management & crews
Responsibilities
- Provide input to plan key milestones, design deliverables, and work breakdowns
- Lead to create organization structures and processes for services
- Assess contract compliance, schedule, cost, and quality; report status and risks
- Monitor safety orientations and coach for improvements
- Oversee crew composition, wage compliance, and cost/budget for installation
- Ensure roads, highways, bridges, MOT, erosion control, and safety training knowledge
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
