Job summary

Raytheon Technologies in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Manager, Contracts to lead front-end assessment of bids, draft and negotiate government contracts, and manage customer relationships.

You will work on DoD programs under FAR/DFARS, coordinate with Prime Contracting Officers, and drive risk mitigation while ensuring compliance with company policies.

This 100% onsite role offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 8 years in a related field.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS and government regulations.
• Experience with Contracts/Subcontracts, Procurement, Acquisitions or Supply Chain Administration.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. Government clearance required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs, structuring balanced deals, establishing negotiation strategy, formalizing contracts and interfacing with customers (virtual and in-person).
• Advise leadership on contractual rights/obligations and risk mitigation; analyze data and provide recommendations.
• Manage multiple contracts as the primary interface with the customers’ Prime Contracting Officers (PCOs).
• Conduct timely negotiations to maximize bookings, sales, cash, and profit.
• Work independently while seeking leadership review when needed.
• Multi-task routine and complex contract/proposal activities and respond to quick response requirements.
• Draft complex letters communicating Raytheon’s business position.
• Travel to Raytheon or customer facilities for meetings.
