Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Systems Engineer II - Guidance, Navigation, and Control to help design, implement, and test embedded software for missile systems. The role emphasizes collaboration within an integrated product team to achieve system performance goals.

You will work on simulations and real hardware, applying GNC and signal processing techniques, and contribute to agile development practices while supporting trainings for peers and engineers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Technology, Engineering or Mathematics required by start date.
• GNC, signal processing, and/or modeling/simulation experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or OO design.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and test embedded missile flight code.
• Define and execute system-level performance studies and analyses.
• Work within an Agile framework to lead backlogs, plans, and metrics.
• Provide guidance to train new engineers and improve efficiency.
• Support missile performance analysis including Monte Carlo assessments.
