Job Summary
Support the execution of current and upcoming missile programs by evaluating, designing, implementing, and integrating embedded software algorithms within tactical missiles.
Responsibilities
- Development, integration, and testing of embedded tactical missile flight code.
- Definition and execution of system-level performance studies and analyses to inform development, integration of new capabilities, refinement of existing capabilities, or obsolescence clearance.
- Work within an agile framework to lead development of backlogs, plans, and metrics.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to train new engineers and ensure efficient and effective program execution.
- Support missile performance analysis including model development, system optimization, and MonteCarlo assessments with expected system disturbances.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Experience in Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC), signal processing, and/or modeling and simulation.
- Relevant engineering experience in missile systems, including at least one of: digital or modern control systems, dynamics, Kalman filter design, signal processing, navigation systems, sensors, and algorithms (including GPS/INS or APNT).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Majors in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, object‑oriented design, and Linux operating systems.
- Class projects, professional internships, or academic research demonstrating application of technical coursework or computer skills.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
