Job summary

The Fountain Group in Vista, CA is seeking a Supply Planning Specialist for a 6-month on-site contract to ensure the availability of raw materials and finished goods. You will balance supply and demand, optimize inventory, and collaborate across functions to support manufacturing and distribution operations.

You will analyze demand, manage capacity, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet production and delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of supply planning/production planning/related experience.
• Advanced MS Excel required.
• Strong knowledge of production and supply planning processes, regulatory requirements and cGMPs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply plans (MTS and MTO) to meet forecasted demand while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.
• Develop and execute capacity plan for designated manufacturing areas and products; manage downtime and project implementations.
• Analyze demand requirements and production capacity to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Direct Production Planners to ensure timely forecasted demand fulfillment.
• Maintain 3-month batch allocation forecast to support market demands.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and other departments to balance constraints with production plans.
• Prepare long-term production and supply plans for senior management.
• Identify supply constraints and develop mitigation plans to avoid disruptions.
• Lead or participate in project and launch teams for new products or processes.
• Provide SAP planning and inventory management expertise to the site.
