Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Site General Manager for the Southwest Wheel and Brake Service Center in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will lead, direct, and oversee all MRO operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while coordinating with sales and support teams.

The role requires a university degree and extensive experience in aerospace maintenance and management, with relocation offered. Onsite work is required, and a strong emphasis is placed on continuous improvement and regulatory

Qualifications

• Requires University Degree with extensive relevant experience; aerospace/overhaul knowledge preferred.
• Minimum 4 years’ management/supervisory experience.
• Experience leading large teams and coordinating with executives and customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction with a hands-on leadership style to foster continuous improvement and a customer-first culture.
• Monitor product quality and ensure FAA/compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
• Develop and manage the service center budget, labor, and material costs to hit margin targets.
• Maintain delivery, quality, and performance objectives to meet on-time delivery and delivered quality.
• Drive long-term operational strategy, cost reduction, capital investment, and digital solutions.
• Ensure staffing plans, succession, and talent development across key roles.
