Job summary

PSEG is seeking a District Manager for Gas Field Operations in New Jersey. This leadership role directs daily gas distribution and service activities, guides strategic plans, and ensures safety, reliability, and profitability in line with the gas operations business plan.

You will oversee regulatory work, workforce deployment, and capital projects while maintaining customer satisfaction. The role may require occasional travel within the service territory and may involve relocation as needed.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering or Business Management with 7–10 years of utility experience, including 4 years in gas field operations; in lieu of a degree, 14 years relevant utility work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction in daily Gas Distribution facilities operations.
• Support the development and deployment of the Gas Operation’s business and financial plans, including strategic workforce deployment.
• Oversee tariff and non-tariff services, profitability, regulatory work, and on-time costs.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and guide facilities construction for reliability.
• Monitor environmental activities and ensure a safe work environment.
• Manage employee relations and develop the department's staff.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• As District Manager, you may work at other locations within the Gas Operations service territory.
• Achieve results through PSEG commitments and leadership behaviors to drive outcomes.
• Oversee operations to maintain safety.
