Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a Fire Alarm System Mechanic to inspect, test, maintain, and repair installed fire alarm and suppression systems in accordance with NFPA standards. You will perform visual inspections, component replacement, testing circuits, detectors, transmitters, and NFPA form preparation.

The role requires at least two years of hands‑on experience, NICET I/II within specified timelines, and the ability to work with minimal supervision on site in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Qualifikationen

• At least two (2) years of experience actively working on fire alarm and suppression systems.
• Obtain NICET I in Fire Alarm Systems within twelve months of hire.
• Obtain NICET II in Fire Alarm Systems within eighteen months of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems with minimal supervision.

Aufgaben

• Inspect, test, maintain, and repair installed fire alarm and suppression systems per NFPA standards.
• Collaborate with other mechanics and Sprinkler Team as needed.
• Prepare NFPA forms for testing and inspections; inspect extinguishers.
• Work from blueprints, drawings, and written instructions; plan tasks and meet deadlines.
