Job summary

Chrysalis Psychiatry in Albuquerque, NM, is hiring a Financial Controller to lead the company’s accounting and financial operations on site. You will oversee accounting, reporting, payroll, cash flow, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, partnering with the COO and leadership.

The role requires 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or small-to-mid sized organizations. A CPA is a plus, and the position is full-time and exempt.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience.
• Healthcare/SMB experience preferred.
• CPA or related certification a plus.
• On-site in Albuquerque, NM; not remote.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close.
• Prepare financial statements and reports with accuracy.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning.
• Oversee revenue cycle, billing, receivables, and collections.
• Supervise payroll and payroll-related financial activities.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals.
• Maintain internal controls and financial processes.
