• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or another related analytical field.
• Expertise using MS Excel.
• Ability to proactively resolve cost issues before they arise.
• Adept at communicating complex ideas and concepts across the organization, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time and multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze contract funding levels and operating plan variances, down to customer, PWS, and reporting category levels.
• Develop Estimates at Completion (EACs), including variance analysis, direct rate impact assessments, level-of-effort phasing, and cost deviation identification.
• Collaborate on EAC planning and reviews, adjusting project controls as needed.
• Configure Costpoint project structures for accurate cost capture per contract requirements.
• Set up project codes for workforce, billing, and revenue processes; upload funding and contract values.
• Reconcile data exports from accounting to invoices and DRDs with quality control.
• Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies, identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Provide analytical support for cost proposals and contract modifications, including pricing reviews and rate development.
• Partner with Accounting for invoicing, month-end close, AR/AP, and other financial operations.
• Communicate financial performance and variance insights to internal project managers.
• Attend meetings with Government customers when necessary.
• Manage multiple projects with strong prioritization and meeting tight deadlines.
