Job summary

OPEX Corporation is seeking a full-time onsite Field Service Technician to support Warehouse Automation. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of material handling equipment with a strong electronics/software background.

The position requires excellent customer service, a valid driver’s license, and ability to lift heavy parts. Work is performed in a warehouse environment with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience required.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Proficiency with PC, Word & Excel, and Windows OS.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep equipment running in production; maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of material handling equipment.
• Install and set up new equipment.
• Interact with the customer to determine the problem.
• Complete field service reports.
• Keep the customer informed as repairs are made.
• Interact with management to analyze and correct equipment performance issues.
• Submit weekly timecards and expense reports.
