Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking an On-Site Field Service Technician in Coppell, TX. You will diagnose and repair Canon equipment, work a 3.5 days on, 3.5 days off schedule (one weekend day required), and respond to customer needs with swift, accurate service.

Training occurs during daytime hours with subsequent shifts including Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday. A high school diploma, ability to travel, and lifting up to 50 pounds are required, along with adherence to customer policies and

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to complete the PDIF new-hire class.
Ability to travel with valid driver’s license.
Capable of functioning in a 24/7 environment and handling shift work.
Must obtain security/clearances as required by customers.
Must lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.
Role rate: $20.00–$25.49 hourly with transportation allowance.

Responsibilities

Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
Maintain knowledge across multiple product groups and provide accurate field/service reports.
Provide guidance to less experienced technicians and resolve escalated issues.
