Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Field Services Technician for an onsite role in Danville, VA. You will participate in 24/7 on-call rotations and travel as needed to support decontamination projects in industrial environments, while strictly following safety procedures and PPE guidelines.

The position requires the ability to operate PPE and handle hazardous substances, with strong attention to detail and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Must have reliable transportation and be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must be willing to consent to background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Comply with prescribed safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Wear a Respirator / SCBA as required.
Be part of a rotating ER team on-call 24/7 for one week at a time.
Travel out of town as required.
Perform decontamination work in lab spaces, pits, and tanks in industrial settings.
Enter confined spaces after reading gas meters (4–5 meters).
Operate a pickup truck with a tow trailer.
Load or unload materials by hand or using equipment.
Contain contamination after hazardous substance emergencies.
Maintain good housekeeping and professional conduct with customers and regulators.
