FLANDERS Inc. in Lakeland, FL seeks a Field Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, repair, install, and/or remove complex electromechanical motors and equipment at customer sites. The role requires independence and comfort handling medium to large accounts with occasional travel.

Work on client sites includes an additional pay rate of $10/hour when on field service assignments. Must be able to read schematics, perform tests, and document outcomes per ISO standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or trade school in electrical/mechanical preferred.
• At least four years hands-on mechanical or electrical experience.
• AC and/or DC motors experience.
• Strong customer-facing skills and communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel overnight.
• Vibration Institute cert. preferred or in progress.

Responsabilités

• Read work scopes to determine job status and requirements.
• Diagnose motors and equipment prior to repair/removal.
• Decide whether repairs can be done in the field or require shop work.
• Disassemble complex electromechanical equipment and document parts.
• Repair/install/remove motors and equipment; test after service.
• Record tests and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
• Operate measurement and testing tools as needed.
• Maintain thorough paperwork and job documentation.
