Job summary

Optimized Process Designs (OPD) in Baytown, TX seeks a Field Safety Coordinator to lead on-site safety efforts across heavy construction sites. You will conduct inspections, organize safety meetings, and ensure adherence to company and OSHA procedures while coordinating with HR and site leaders.

Travel is required to remote job sites; you will respond to incidents, manage investigations, and support new hire orientation and permitting processes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a High School Diploma or GED.
• OSHA 510 or OSHA 30 training required.
• Two+ years in safety in heavy construction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field walk-through inspections to identify hazards.
• Organize safety meetings and trainings.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and OSHA training.
• Investigate incidents and manage case files.
• Administer Lockout/Tagout and other permits.
