Job summary

tggaccounting seeks a Project Engineer/APM for a federal site construction role in Rapid City, SD. The position is onsite at the jobsite, with duties spanning pre-construction to closeout and close collaboration with PMs and superintendents on large USACE projects.

Qualifications include a Construction Management degree, OSHA 30, and at least some project engineer experience; candidates should be U.S. citizens eligible for federal work and travel up to ~25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain on hire.
• Federal/DOD or USACE construction experience a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive projects from pre-construction through closeout with PM and Superintendent.
• Read and interpret drawings/specs; maintain airtight project docs.
• Manage submittal process and schedules with subs.
• Create, track, and close out RFIs.
• Schedule stakeholder meetings and distribute minutes.
• Compile closeout packages: warranties, O&M manuals, punchlists.
• Facilitate owner training, permitting, inspections, regulatory compliance.
• Assist with quality control and warranty coordination.
• Use MS Office, Bluebeam, and CM software daily.
