Job summary

Sartorius Marlborough, MA is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain and repair the facility's infrastructure and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building services. You will support preventive maintenance programs and ensure GMP/OSHA compliance while coordinating with external vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or certifications beneficial.
• Experience (1+ years) in facilities maintenance, calibration, or general building operations.
• Ability to understand and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Physically able to lift, carry, climb, and perform hands-on technical work.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building infrastructure.
• Timely execution of maintenance requests and work orders.
• Participation in preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliable equipment performance and regulatory compliance.
• Documentation and tracking of maintenance and inspection activities in accordance with GMP and OSHA standards.
• Support of laboratory, office, and common-area setup, including equipment installation and relocation.
