Job summary

Belcan Corporation is seeking a Facilities Technician (Mid Level) in Marlborough, MA. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, boilers and pumps within a laboratory facility, with focus on safety and reliability.

Start immediately, duration six months, pay $29.2/hr with comprehensive benefits. Ideal candidates have at least five years of facilities maintenance in manufacturing or labs and strong CMMS experience, preferably Infor EAM, Metasys.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of facilities or skilled trades maintenance experience in manufacturing or lab.
• Experience with multiple systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, boilers, pumps) or controls.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on facility MEP systems in a lab environment.
• Perform routine inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs.
• Document all work activities in the CMMS.
• Respond to alarms, breakdowns and emergencies to restore safe operation.

Job Title: Facilities Technician (Mid Level)

Location: Marlborough, MA

Pay Rate: $29.2/hr; Duration: 6 Months; Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility MEP systems (electrical distribution, HVAC, plumbing, boilers, compressors, pumps, utility systems) within a laboratory facility environment.
• Perform routine inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs.
• Document all work activities in the CMMS.
• Respond to equipment alarms, breakdowns, and facility emergencies to restore safe operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a facilities or skilled trades maintenance technician in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
• Working knowledge in at least two of the following: electrical systems, HVAC R, plumbing/pipefitting, boilers/steam systems, wastewater systems, pumps, controls, or RODI/WFI.

Preferred Experience

• BMS experience, preferably Metasys.
• Laboratory facility experience.
• CMMS experience, preferably Infor EAM.
