Legends Global at The Moscone Center in San Francisco seeks a Maintenance Engineer to oversee facility maintenance and support the Chief/Assistant Chief Engineers in keeping equipment operating smoothly. Swing or overnight shifts available; hourly rate $70.54.

The role covers HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, electrical motors and building automation, with a focus on safety and teamwork within a large public facility.

Qualifications

• Must complete an approved apprenticeship program.
• Solid knowledge of building, equipment, operations and maintenance.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Member in good standing of Stationary Engineers Local 39 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate heating and ventilating equipment, engines, pumps, air compressors and related machinery.
• Operation, maintenance and repair of boilers, pumps, valves and steam/duct systems.
• Maintenance and repair of water systems, filters, piping, and sanitation.
• Electrical motors and engines maintenance for pumps, compressors, and fans.
• Maintenance of elevators, escalators, and building automation systems.
• Maintenance and repair of all locks, locksmith related duties and related carpentry.
