Job summary

Legends Global, The Moscone Center in San Francisco, seeks a Maintenance Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related building systems. The role supports the Chief Engineer and ensures reliable service for events and tenants.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial plant operations, minimum five years in large facilities, and a valid apprenticeship or equivalent certification, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and emergency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved apprenticeship program is preferred.
• Certification/licensing in the field is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of building operations, equipment, and maintenance.
• Must pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair HVAC, boilers, pumps, and related equipment.
• Maintain building automation systems for HVAC and data gathering panels.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Inspect and service life-safety systems, alarms, and emergency controls.
• Maintain elevators, conveyors, and other building systems; assist with tenant interfaces.
