Job summary

ICL is seeking a Facilities Custodian/Mover to clean and maintain offices and public areas on site. You will perform floor care, light repairs, and assist with moving and relocation of equipment or household items.

The role requires physical stamina and prior housekeeping experience. Work is Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm in Brooklyn, NY, onsite with full benefits and a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• One year experience in housekeeping/janitorial/maintenance or related.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping techniques and proper use of maintenance and housekeeping equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned buildings: offices, conference rooms, lobbies, break rooms, restrooms and public areas.
• Perform floor maintenance and minor building repairs; assist in moving and relocation of equipment or household items.
• Move, store, pack, load and transport items for relocation services; assist with groundskeeping as needed.
• Restock supplies, maintain trash/recycling and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Attend to spills and incidents; report pests and facility issues promptly.
