Job summary

Savannah Tank and Equipment Corporation in Garden City, GA seeks a dedicated Project Manager to drive customer projects from PO award through final delivery. You will maintain schedules, coordinate multi‑tank jobs, and ensure timely updates to customers and internal teams.

The role requires strong client communication, documentation discipline, and experience in a shop environment, with ownership of project outcomes and ship dates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing multiple concurrent projects in custom fabrication, industrial manufacturing, job-shop production, construction, or similar environment.
• Degree in mechanical engineering, mathematics, or similar area of study, or 7+ years practical experience.
• Comfortable working in and around a shop environment.
• Operates independently and brings problems to leadership on a path to resolution.
• Able to run focused, productive meetings with a clear agenda and timing.

Responsibilities

• Be the customer’s main point of contact after the PO is awarded, communicate progress, issues, changes, and delivery timing.
• Maintain the project-level schedule with milestones and release dates, updating weekly.
• Track multiple tanks through PRE FAB → FIT → TESTING → FINISHING to know status.
• Lead internal project meetings with clear agenda, decisions, and action items.
• Lead recurring customer project reviews with progress, milestones, and changes explained clearly.
