Job summary

University of North Florida Alumni Association seeks an on-site Event Services Associate to support planning and execution of conferences, meetings, and events in the Herbert University Center. You will oversee student staff, ensure facility readiness, and deliver exceptional client service during evening hours.

The role emphasizes on-site operations, supervision of approximately eight OPS/students, and coordination of event setups with contractors and UNF departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 2+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination as allowed by Florida statute.
• Evening shift schedule Tue–Fri and Saturday during events; flexibility to meet event needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily event setups and breakdowns for conferences, meetings, and events.
• Review event orders to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Assist with audiovisual setup and operation as needed.
• Supervise and train approx. eight OPS/student staff members.
• Provide front desk support and client services during events.
