Job summary

545 KENTUCKY AVE LLC is seeking a Venue Event Captain in Indianapolis, IN for a part-time role. You will lead onsite operations, oversee venue services, and manage beverage service, vendors, and staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience across events.

The role reports to the Event Operations Lead and offers opportunities for additional hours based on event volume. Ideal candidates have bartending experience, strong communication, and are 21+ with a valid alcohol service certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in hospitality, events, venues, or food & beverage preferred.
• Previous bartending experience required.
• Must be 21+ and hold a valid alcohol service certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite venue representative during assigned event shifts.
• Deliver exceptional hospitality to clients, guests, vendors, and partners throughout the event.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize disruptions and maintain a positive guest experience.
• Support operations lead in executing events according to standards and client expectations.
• Assist with event flow and operational priorities as needed.
