Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking an Environmental Specialist to support on-site hazardous waste programs at client locations in the Somerset, NJ area. The role involves understanding OSHA regulations, preparing waste documentation, and safe handling of hazardous waste containers to ensure client compliance and safety.

The position reports to the Operations Manager and emphasizes on-site lab/oss support, regulatory expertise, and emergency response participation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the hazardous-waste industry, or relevant military experience.
• Ability to work as a member of a team and individually.
• Strong communication abilities with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Understand OSHA regulations and Triumvirate’s Health and Safety practices.
• Prepare chemical and biological waste documents and manage paperwork for shipments.
• Safely handle hazardous waste containers on client sites and manage loading/unloading.
