Job summary

Cindavi in Corpus Christi area is seeking an Environmental Engineer to gain hands-on experience with sampling, inspections, and waste documentation at our Sinton facility onsite. You will collaborate with plant departments to keep environmental requirements on track and build practical knowledge across air, water, and waste activities.

You will start with field inspections and compliance support, then take on more reporting responsibilities as your knowledge grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year of environmental experience; 2–3 years preferred.
• Willingness to perform hands-on plant work, including inspections and sampling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with other departments.
• Experience with environmental inspections, sampling, air testing, or waste labeling is a plus.
• Plant exposure and some experience with compliance reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform air testing, visual inspections, and wetland inspections for environmental checks.
• Collect environmental samples and gather field information to support compliance.
• Verify hazardous waste labeling and complete field paperwork for disposal.
• Coordinate with plant departments on environmental concerns and follow up with teams.
• Learn from experienced engineers and grow toward broader compliance duties.
