Job summary

Advanced Systems Design, Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Systems Administrator to support and improve enterprise infrastructure in Montgomery, AL. The role is onsite from day one, covering Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and hybrid identity across on‑premises and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on administration across AD/Entra ID, Intune/MECM, virtualization platforms, and backup/recovery services, with a focus on reliability, security, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of enterprise systems experience and related infrastructure.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows-based enterprise environments.
• Hands-on Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and hybrid identity.
• Experience with Intune and SCCM/MECM for endpoint configuration and patching.
• Knowledge of enterprise virtualization, backup/recovery, and security hardening.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server and enterprise infrastructure across physical, virtual, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, security/compliance, and coordination.
• Manage Active Directory and Entra ID including MFA, federation, and directory synchronization.
• Deploy and manage endpoint config with Intune and MECM/SCCM; ensure policy and patch compliance.
• Administer virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV) and manage VM lifecycle.
• Oversee Druva or other backup/recovery services; monitor retention and restores.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing, documentation, and runbooks.
• Maintain storage/file services, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and time services; support change control.
