Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking an Enterprise Operations Analyst for our Hoover, Alabama location. The role focuses on analyzing data to identify trends, driving process improvements, and ensuring adherence to risk management and cybersecurity standards.

As an onsite team member, you will collaborate with managers to apply data to business goals, create training materials, and support project work while maintaining timely, accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and three years of related experience.
• Or High School Diploma or GED and seven years of related experience.
• Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance.
• Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of banking operations.
• Knowledge of business intelligence (BI) tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and interprets data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
• Works with managers to apply data to business goals and analytical requirements, which may include capacity planning, volume forecasting and unit costing
• Contributes to work flows or process changes and redesigns, and has a strong basic understanding of the specific product or process
• Creates and maintains policies, procedures and/or training materials to maximize efficiency and customer service
• Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices
• Works under limited to moderate supervision to analyze and solve moderately complex operational, systems-related, and/or customer issues
• May define user requirements and assist with user acceptance testing
• May manage small projects and/or contribute to task forces or project teams
• May also be accountable for regular reporting or process administration as an owner
