Job summary

KnitWell Group in New York City is hiring a Network Engineer to deliver Tier 1/2 support, focus on wireless and wired connectivity, and assist the Network Engineering team with projects. The role requires hands-on experience with enterprise switching, routing, VPNs, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in enterprise networks, CCNA or equivalent, and strong TCP/IP and routing skills. Onsite five days, with the potential for after-hours support; salary range $80k-$90k.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant network support or network engineering experience.
• CCNA certification or equivalent practical experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).
• Experience with VPN technologies and basic network security concepts.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (Ivanti, ServiceNow).
• Retail IT experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for local and remote users.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices and cabling.
• Support network maintenance, MDF/IDF cleanup, and project work.
• Document changes, test solutions, and assist with design discussions.
• Communicate status and work with stakeholders across teams.
• Provide after-hours or weekend support as needed.
