Job summary

The Matlen Silver Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager, Engineering for a 6-month onsite assignment in Chandler, AZ.

You will drive engineering projects across sites and collaborate with stakeholders in Product Transfer, Operations and divisional partners. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Engineering with 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing; strong interpersonal and communication skills; and proficiency with MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 5+ years’ experience managing engineering projects in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
• Effective communication of project risks across functional groups
• Onsite coordination with multiple sites including Tijuana, Mexico
• Basic scheduling and critical path management using MS Project

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously
• Prioritize tasks and assign team members to meet deadlines
• Evaluate changes impacting scope, budget or timeline
• Lead engineering projects across multiple sites
• Monitor progress against the project plan
• Identify and resolve operational problems to minimize delays
• Work with site project manager in Tijuana, Mexico
• Maintain relationships and effective communication with key stakeholders
