Job summary

Vibotek LLC in Palo Alto is seeking an onsite Help Desk/Support Engineer to design, implement, and manage the device ecosystem. You will automate hardware and VDI lifecycles for a seamless, secure, zero-touch experience for our global workforce, serving as SME for Apple and Windows management and cloud desktop infra.

With 3–5 years in endpoint engineering, you will own Jamf Pro for macOS/iOS, administer Intune, and optimize Amazon WorkSpaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in an Endpoint Engineering or MDM-focused role.
• Jamf Mastery: macOS and iOS management via Jamf Pro.
• Intune Proficiency: managing Windows via Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• VDI Expertise: Amazon WorkSpaces administration.
• BYOD Deployment: deploying and managing BYOD for personal devices.
• Advanced Scripting: write Bash and PowerShell scripts from scratch.
• Identity: understanding Okta or Azure AD (Entra ID) for enrollments and SSO.

Responsibilities

• Unified Endpoint Management (UEM): daily upkeep, patching, security, and stability.
• Service Desk Escalation: act as SME for complex endpoint issues.
• Apple Fleet: manage Jamf Pro for macOS and iOS devices, configs, and patches.
• Windows & Android: administer Microsoft Intune with policy and security baselines.
• Provisioning: manage ABM and Windows Autopilot for zero-touch deployment.
• VDI: administer Amazon WorkSpaces, directories, image maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Automation & Engineering: build scripts (PowerShell/Bash) and package software for silent deployment.
• Security & Compliance: enforce endpoint encryption and work with security teams.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience

Relevant certifications (Jamf 200/300, Microsoft MD-102, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner)
