KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG is seeking an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist in Chicago to support advanced medical devices directly within a hospital setting. You will work closely with OR, Sterile Processing, and BioMed teams to ensure surgical readiness and successful outcomes.

This hands-on, customer-facing role offers exposure to cutting-edge technology and growth across sales, leadership, and education within a global MedTech leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 certification (CRCST, CCSVP, CST, or CER) or licensure; Associate's Degree acceptable.
• 2–5 years’ experience as an OES or related Surgical Technology/Medical role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, face-to-face support to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams.
• Set up and support video towers and integrated systems for surgical procedures.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate replacement of instruments and equipment.
• Transport, clean, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments for use.
• Manage repair processes, track equipment status, and facilitate service transactions.
• Troubleshoot real-time equipment issues in the operating room.

Shift: Monday – Friday,

What You’ll Do

• Provide hands‑on, face‑to‑face support to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams, ensuring seamless use of KARL STORZ equipment
• Set up and support video towers and integrated systems for surgical procedures
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate replacement of instruments and equipment
• Transport, clean, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments for use
• Manage repair processes, track equipment status, and facilitate service transactions
• Troubleshoot real‑time equipment issues in the operating room to support successful procedures

What You Bring

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 certification (CRCST, CCSVP, CST, or CER) or licensure required, or Associate's Degree
• 2 - 5 years’ experience as an OES, and/or previous experience in Sterile Processing, Sales, or other Surgical Technology/Medical role
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate in fast‑paced, service‑driven teams
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and reporting tools
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 lbs.

Nice to Have:

• CRCST certification or interest in obtaining certification
• Experience supporting surgical equipment or medical devices
