HCLTech in Alameda, CA is seeking an Embedded Tester (SIT) to join our team. You will review requirements, design test scenarios, and ensure robust validation for a safety-critical handheld medical device using C and C++ on microcontrollers.

This full-time onsite role emphasizes testing over development, with involvement in test plans, regression analysis, and participation in reviews. The ideal candidate has hands-on embedded testing experience and is comfortable navigating RTOS and non-RTOS

Qualificações

• Experience in test planning and requirement analysis for safety-critical devices.
• Strong knowledge of C and C++ in embedded contexts.
• Familiarity with RTOS and non-RTOS environments.
• Ability to identify test scenarios from requirements and designs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop software integration test plans and protocols for an embedded handheld medical device.
• Execute tests according to medical device software processes.
• Perform regression analysis of code in C/C++ and coordinate with hardware design.
• Participate in requirements, design and code reviews.
