Actalent is seeking an Engineering Electronics Technician to diagnose and resolve electronic failures in precision test and measurement equipment in Beaverton, OR. The role requires a strong electronics foundation and ability to troubleshoot down to component level, with hands-on use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.

The position is contract-to-hire, onsite in Beaverton, and offers PTO, holidays, and sick leave.

Qualifications

• Strong electronics theory foundation and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics and analyze circuit diagrams.
• Experience with component-level diagnostics.

Responsabilités

• Perform root-cause analysis of electronic failures on complex products.
• Interpret schematics, block diagrams, and wiring diagrams to isolate faults.
• Troubleshoot down to the component level using structured approaches.
• Utilize historical failure data, internal diagnostic tools, and test results to guide repair decisions.
• Apply electrical engineering principles to identify likely failure points.
• Operate electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, DMMs, and power supplies to validate repairs.
• Execute functional and performance tests post-troubleshooting to confirm compliance with specifications.
• Support production floor and engineering teams with technical evaluations and failure analysis.
